Quarterly Aftercare Programs for Survivors & Caregivers

LIFE AFTER CANCER:

A QUARTERLY SURVIVOR RESET

     1st Wednesday @ 6:00 PM

(Central Time Zone)

January 7th, April 1st, July 1st, November 4th

Life After Cancer: A Quarterly Survivor Reset

Who it’s for: Cancer survivors (any stage post-diagnosis)

What it is: A structured, survivor-only space to talk honestly about life during and after cancer—identity, fear of recurrence, relationships, and redefining normal—without pressure to be positive or inspirational.

How it works: Survivors meet quarterly in a facilitated Zoom session that includes a survivor-led story, guided discussion, and small breakout conversations. Cameras and speaking are always optional.

Why quarterly: Healing is not linear. Quarterly gatherings reduce emotional fatigue while allowing deeper reflection and connection.

What to expect:

  • Survivors only

  • Cameras optional

  • No advice or fixing

  • Listening counts as participation

  • Structural conversations tp prevent overload.

THE CAREGIVER ROOM:

A QUARTERLY RESET

3rd Wednesday @ 6:00 PM

(Central Time Zone)

January 7th, April 1st, July 1st, November 4th

The Caregiver Room: A Quarterly Reset

Who it’s for: Unpaid caregivers supporting someone with cancer

What it is: A caregiver-only space to speak honestly about the emotional weight of caregiving—without needing to be strong, grateful, or protective of anyone else’s feelings.

How it works: Caregivers meet quarterly in a facilitated Zoom session featuring a caregiver story, guided prompts, and small breakout conversations designed to reduce isolation and burnout.

Why quarterly: Frequent meetings increase caregiver fatigue. Quarterly resets create containment, safety, and sustainability.

What to expect:

  • Caregivers only

  • Cameras optional, speaking optional

  • No advice-giving

  • Structured, facilitated conversation
